So, in all seriousness, what were the betas for?
Just sincerely trying to figure out why we spent 3-4 years testing this game when it's clearly unfinished
The fight for Caerleon currently takes place in the Region Overflow, meaning that that whole map rework they did in an effort to make Caerleon the central trade hub and a major GvG hotspot basically comes down to who can spam AOE CC through instance harder
The testing clearly had nothing to do with optimization, or for cleaning up the netcode since the game can barely handle PvP engagements larger than 50 without crashing
Map design seemed to have been a big focus but the maps are actually copy+pasted wastelands, and dungeons are all the same to the point I can screenshot and openly broadcast myself in a Morgana dungeon and no one would have any idea of where I'm at, contrary even to the shitshow that was Beta 2
Guild QoL hasn't been touched, an issue that's gone ignored since it was first implemented
GvG maps have actually been removed
Feels like the only thing they've really done since Beta 1 was punish and nerf any incentive to PvP
But hey, we got expeditions
Does anyone actually know why this game was in testing for so long?
