Advice on Parts - Linux for Robotics
###Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do) Yes
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better. I am a grad student in robotics. I want to build a new computer. I will primarily be using linux on it to do programming in python (numpy, scipy, tensorflow, ROS), C++, and MATLAB. I also want to dual boot with Windows, where I will primarily use SolidWorks.
I am aiming for a computer between $1,000-$1,500.
In what country are you purchasing your parts? USA
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).
I have come up with three different builds based on some advice from other students and my own research. Any feedback (even if it is just which build you would choose) would be great.

Provide any additional details you wish below. I plan to buy the GPU in the future, post mining craze. I also want to add an M2 or PCIE ssd drive. I currently have keyboard, mouse, monitors, 2 1TB hard drives, and a 500GB SSD. I have an AMD RX550, but it has given me a lot of problems on Linux so I am not planning on using it.
Some questions i have: What is the value of additional PCI-E? Any insight on the Intel vs. AMD for Linux compatibility/usability.? Easiest way to ensure a power supply has sufficient connections? (i am having trouble figuring out if a power supply has enough EPS connectors) How to resolve the X99 bios issue with newer CPUs?
Thanks!
