T150 wheel doesn't turn smoothly?

I just bought a T150 (only because my DFGT doesn't work on PS4) and I noticed that when I turn the wheel it moves kinda like a clock ticking (or like something is stuck in the mechanism) is that normal? My DFGT is obviously noisier, but it's always smooth.
