My first stall
I've been Keto for 34 days. I'm 5'5, 264, down from 276 the day I started. I started at 100g of carbs and tapered down. I've been vacillating between 261 and 266 for the last 2 weeks, can't seem to break under 260. I track every day, my net carbs are 20-45g. I will say I'm not eating as much, I'm really just not hungry. I eat 1-2 meals per day, no snacks, typically between 8am and 4:30pm while I'm at work, and I drink 1 gallon of water each day. No measurements, but I've dropped a dress size. No problems with constipation since I started the gallon water consumption, and really no other issues other than having a fair amount of energy late in the day which tends to make me stay up too late doing chores and such, and then I don't always feel well rested the next day. No major change in my exercise, still walking daily. Planning to starting hitting 10k on my Fitbit again starting tomorrow.
I'm going on vacation tomorrow, planning to enjoy myself without going crazy...expecting my net carbs to be in the 75-100 range. Planning a green smoothie cleanse once I return and then back into Keto. What can I do to blast through this first plateau? Do I just need to increase my physical activity? It seems like so many people drop 20-40 lbs in their first month and I'm starting month 2. I'm not frustrated, but I'd like to see changes in my body. Everyone else does, but I don't.
