How to increase visibility of running task indicator?

Running Win 10x64 v1607.

Taskbar icons display a thin underline along their bottom edge to indicate that their app or program is currently running. I find this indicator hard to see.

Is there any way to increase the height/thickness of the running task indicator underline to make it easier to see?
