Dirt 4. Open wheel Speedcar xtrem impossible to drive. (need tips)

I'm not sure if it's just me but the speedcar xtrem is impossibly hard to drive in Dirt 4 and totally counter intuitive to me. Trying to compensate for a heavy turn by turning the other way ALWAYS spins me out. Any tips on how to handle this little shit of a car?
