Finding the right time to ask this girl out.

Hey Reddit,

So this new girl started working at the same place as me for a couple months now. Her and I seem to be into each other and I was told from a good friend that she thinks I'm cute. So I wanna ask her out, just one problem. I can't seem to catch her before or after her shift. She almost always takes the closing shift and doesn't get off till like 1AM and she shows up about 5 minutes before her shift. I'm having trouble figuring out how I can ask her. I have her on messenger but I really don't like asking girls out over text. I also don't want to be creepy and wait for her until after closing and give off the wrong impression. What should I do?
