Upgraded to the CODA-4582 : Terrible speeds.

Hello Rogers Reddit,

Today the Rogers technician came to my house and swapped my modem so that I could switch packages to the 500 Down/20 Up (apparently the old black modem could not support the 500 Down). So that's all good and dandy. The tech finishes up and leaves. I check the speeds. 24.10 Mbps Down, 1.07 Mbps Up. Wtf. I was getting 120/10 before I swapped modems! I tried swapping the 5Ghz channel to one that no one was using, but that did not help.

I was doing some digging and apparently there is a firmware update???

Very frustrated. The tech isn't coming back until Wednesday.

Help a fellow out?
