Recruiter contacted me about the Nuke program. What should I know?

Currently heading into my senior year of high school, and took the ASVAB in my Junior year. I was contacted by the Navy and they talked to me about joining the nuclear program and working on/around the nuclear plants aboard the ships. The offer does sound very appealing, but I'm wary of there being a "catch" of some sort. Is there anyone in the nuke program who can tell me about their experience, or any questions i should ask the recruiter before signing anything?
