Is it okay to use 1000w AVR for Corsair VS650 650w

I had to change my PSU from Zalman ZM500-LE (500w) to a corsair VS650 (650w) due to using a 230v socket instead of using a 115v. Now question: Is it okay to use a 1000w AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) for a 650w PSU? Since i don't know the exact components of my CPU as it is customized ( i also have limited knowledge on computer hardware) So i told myself just to be safe i'll buy a AVR with a higher wattage. Just incase someone would ask, yes it is recommended to use an AVR in my country or maybe in my city. I'm from Philippines by the way. Here are the 2 things i only know about my unit: graphic card?
