FUT seasons lag?

Hey guys so through out FIFA I really didn't play because I knew I had pretty bad connection. Or at least I thought. The best connection even with an Ethernet cable is an orange latency during FUT seasons . It's weird because it's division 2 (so people should be in this division) Also where I live it's pretty populated. I have the matchmaking setting set to matching me up with those around where I live first. Now I didn't play much FIFA for this reason I didn't want it to lag. Now WL and the tournament I get green latency even without an Ethernet cable. Would anyone know why that is ? I want to try and see if there is a solution before FIFA 18.
