[EVERYTHING] An idea for Night King's motives...
It hit me this morning after seeing Bran in S7E3. He seems so different. Almost weary. He explains to Sansa that he can "see it all". All events that happen to all people. He even explains that he's seen what happened to Sansa. That's gotta be insanely painful for him.
Most people believe that Bran is the Night King. What if the Night King's objective is to eradicate all the evil in the world. He can't stand seeing it anymore. What causes all the pain and strife? People. Living people. So when he turns everyone dead, he thinks he's saving the world from further suffering.
Just a thought
