Inductrix FPV antenna

I have a inductrix FPV, and in a crash the little wire antenna popped off.

I soldered a little piece of wire to the board and it's working pretty good - but I feel like it could be better.

It looks like on the transmitter there are 2 pads, a small round one (where I think the old antenna was soldered) and a bigger square one. Are they both for antennas? Would one be better then the other?

Since I never looked at it closely I'm not sure 100% how it was setup originally - so any advice would be appreciated.
