[Gear] [Question] What amps are the Hughes & Kettner TubeMeisters like?

I play a lot of clean stuff but also classic rock and vintage voiced metal (think Marshall) and I've been wondering if the TubeMeister 36 will serve me better than Marshall's new DSL's. But, I can almost never find one of these guys to play. So, just curious, what do they actually sound like? What existing amps (Fenders/Marshall/Vox/Orange/Boogie) would they be compared to?
