NZXT CAM causing my PC to stutter

So for a while now I've noticed my mouse stuttering every couple of seconds on my desktop and every so often desktop animations stutter and are slow, which is out of the ordinary considering I keep my PC in good health and have decent specs. I narrowed it down to NZXT CAM, which I would usually just uninstall if a program was causing such an issue but the problem is I have an NZXT Grid+ Fan controller, so no CAM means no fans.

I've been in touch with NZXT support and they have come up with nothing so far, was wondering here if anyone had a similar issue or knew a potential fix? The stuttering doesn't seem to affect most games (I get the odd slowdown but that could just be the games) nor does it affect video playback. The type of mouse doesn't seem to matter, but I am currently using a Logitech G203.
