Interesting similarity between 40oz and this

Now, let me start by saying I LOVE the new Polyphia album. They had me sold by Renaissance, but this album takes the cake and I like it for all the same reasons I liked Homey by Chon in June. It's groovy, it's got addictive hooks and riffs, and it's just fun, easy to listen to metal.

I was listening to 40oz this morning and I realized it sounded interestingly similar to this:

https://youtu.be/3i3ImYBBxvY?t=31s (linked to 31 seconds to get to relevant part), especially with the opening hook of 40oz.

And, here's a link to 40oz for convenience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8xL6IUsJ8o

Being this is literally for a sound pack for DA content creators, I don't think this could be considered plagiarism or anything, but I did find it interesting.

Needless to say again, The Most Hated is AWESOME.
