Can you pan fry chicken with a yogurt base marinade ?

Hi guys,

I wanted to try that Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe that I've seen being recommended on that subreddit multiple times. The thing is, I don't have an oven, so I was wondering if you can pan fry chicken that has been marinated with yogurt, or if it'll burn to quickly. Thanks for your advice !
