Inquiring about a missing wall
I was close to lucidity. It seems silly now. In the dream, I was at a hotel room, but I soon realized wall was missing, yet there was a door and hanging picture frames. The nature of the missing wall was very unnatural and eerie. Like, why would the hotel check me into this room? Rather than suspect a dream world, I inquired to the hotel as to the condition of the wall. A representative was sent to me. I said something like, this is a risk to security, having the wall missing like this. She nodded and took some notes. I went on, why even have a door lock with a missing wall? Anyone could just crawl right under the picture frame. More note taking.
I feel like the dream responded hilariously to my inquiry, just nodding and smiling, waiting for me to realize it's a dream. It's not the first time dream characters have played with my non lucidity. Just pretending to take notes or a phone number and just barely acting a role, like it's a skit. I sometimes feel like this how God must feel before his sleeping children, gently waking us to our greater world consciousness transcended beyond individualized ego. I think that is real lucidity. Practicing mindfulness, breathing.
