Bees with no flowers around ?

I live by the sea and haven't seen bees around in ages. Then again, I'm a hermit so.. Anyway, I saw a bee resting on a leaf of my strawberry plant. The plant has yet to flower or anything so... I'm confused to see a bee there.

We do have blue berries flowering at the moment :)

Should I leave some honey out for the potential bees?
