Annuity account

Insurance

Hello personalfinance, I'm Nick. I'm 32. In Nov 2013 I had a massive stroke. limited income, mortgage loan modified I owe $15,440 on the day my last payment is made in ~30 years. My mom's best friend is an accountant and when I really got into deep shit almost lost my house she stepped in and helped me out with the one condition that she take over my finances. So she helped me get my mortgage loan modified so the payment is less but I'm tasked with researching an annuity account for that 15k I owe in 30 years, so I'm researching the best way I know how, asking the reddits. I bank with Wells Fargo and I asked, can't I just open one with them? She laughed at me =( so where is the best place to go to open an annuity account for something like this? We're looking to put something like $25/mo into the account initially but that can and will change based on many factors because I don't plan on being on social security forever, I'm trying to get a job and I'm fighting for a full recovery in the meantime tl;dr where is the best place to go to open an annuity account? What should I look for? What should I avoid?
