[Event] The Other, More Expensive Path

To quell any popular fears created by the Tagsatzung's recent ruling of religious neutrality in regards to the various reformation sects, and to continue the massively-successful infrastructural spending campaign of several years ago, another sum of money from the shared Swiss treasury has been authorized to be spent on improving the cantons.

Namely, a total of 600,000 ducats will be spent over the following months, split evenly between the various full member cantons of the Confederacy. The projects will vary from repairing city buildings and churches to establishing better local militia-drilling techniques to repaving roads and furrowing fields.

It is hoped that this effort will, in addition to continuing the success of central spending of years past, calm any popular unease at recent government policy and encourage associate states and small neighbors within the Empire to reap the benefits of full membership.
