Great Battle King's Landing
As the two armies clashed together, the various sides of the two opposing forces met in a bloody standstill.
-
The Vanguard dealt a blow apiece, but Andrik Whent's forces were severely outnumbered. Odds were not great for the Black Bat going forward, but he was not out of the fight just yet.
-
In the Center, Corin Stark and Aelyx Targaryen met ferociously, and their armies suffered for it. In the end however, Corin's army killed enough Targaryens that his army definitely had a numerical advantage going forward. Corin was getting worked up into a blood rage, and the loss of his cousin and son surely stung as he desperately tried to fight for them back.
-
The Rear Guard was clearly going the Targaryen's way. While Lyonel Lannister preformed brilliant maneuvers against Aron Connington, the Griffin Lord had the slight edge in skill, and won the round for the Dragons. In the next round, Lyonel's rage and frustration got the better of him, and he was made to pay for it by Aron. When all hope seemed lost, horns sounded from the east as the hosts of House Arryn and Tully appeared over the horizon. The day was surely saved. It was all over for the Targaryens now!
-
On the Walls, Aden Mooton decided to turn cloak and fight against his brothers in arms. While he might have opened up the Gate of the Gods, his luck ran out as he tried to fight the Goldcloaks and allies up on the walls. Robyn Royce would have to move quickly, or he would be surrounded by Targaryens both inside and outside the walls.
((Feel free to comment with flavor on the post, but no battle commands. Leave that for the commanders.))
