Learn Ableton Live & compose an album

If this sounds interesting, consider enrolling in Music 160: Introduction to Electro-Acoustic Composition, a class about using technology to create music. Over the course of the semester, you'll compose ten pieces using Ableton Live and associated software. ALL GENRES OF MUSIC ARE WELCOME.

Last year we had visits from the folks at Ableton, a field trip to the Museum of Making Music, and wrapped it all up with an Electronic Music Marathon Concert.

The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30-1:45 (it's section #3) and is open to all majors---NO prerequisites necessary, just an interest in listening to and writing music.
