/u/-Brief-Candle- on Do you agree with White Nationalism? If so, why? If not, what is the appropriate way to address it, from the conservative view?
I don't see the problem with a multitude of nations.
Even if you had just one nation for each spoken language that would total almost 7000 nations, a factor of 35 more than we have today. And that doesn't account for the fact that one could easily break up identities beyond simply language. So we're talking about potentially tens of thousands of nations. It seems that such a substantial change would, among other things, throw the world economy and geopolitics into extreme instability. You don't seem to be a particular fan of capitalism, but could you understand it if the vast majority of people see that risk/reward equation as being entirely untenable?
segregating the various population that exist would put a stop to the atomization caused by further mixing
But despite the fact that you are a fully "atomized" person, the result of what is already substantial mixing, you have what you consider to be a coherent enough identity to form a nation around yourself. Do you consider the identity and lineage that you have to be inferior to a more "pure" lineage that might result from relative isolation, e.g. Basque or Okinawan? And if not, what harm does additional genetic mixing cause? Your descendants would be equally capable of forming an identity around their particular mix.
I should have said "sum of elements." There is no political entity, no state that exists for Americans of European descent. Why should we not want one? Why should we open ourselves to total dispossession?
You'd have to help me understand how not having a nation that is exclusive to your identity opens you up to dispossession any more than another system. For example, in a world with 10,000 nations it's easy to expect that some percentage of those nations would be subject to total control of another nation. It seems to me that a nation that allows for personal freedom of choice and is held to the standard of not preferring one ethnicity over another, even if it is not able to enact that standard perfectly, stands at least as good a chance of defending your rights as a highly fragmented system.
