When should you apologize for microagressions?
So I'm fully an intersectional feminist, but I'm also a straight white cis man. So I'm pretty privileged and I occasionally commit microagressions.
I'm not sure when to apologize for stuff. I feel like if I apologized for every single time I pointed out a gender difference or mansplained something, I would be apologizing way too much and most of the people I would be apologizing to would be like "why is he apologizing for this, it's no big deal?"
But I also don't want to ignore it when I mess up. I don't want to be that sexist guy who doesn't think about women's feelings.
