Picture of blue sent to friends

I left my laptop closed while i left the house, and when i got back my friend sent me a message asking "what's with the blue square"i had no idea what she meant, she said it was in the group chat, and when I checked my messages it said i had sent a picture in 3 different chats it's just a blue square, and one is just black and idea why this happened? or what it is?
