INTRODUCTION

Hello! Thanks for your interest in Nathan Classic. If you'd like to just see our basic information, rules and whitelist application, you can skip this section!

We are a small, mature and whitelisted PC Minecraft server with multiple worlds available for creative, survival and minigames modes. We are mostly comprised of adult players but are welcoming of players of all ages as long as you can adhere to our rules, found below. Though this server is our focal point, many of our players will play together in other online video games, and even Dungeons & Dragons via Discord.

Nathan Classic was founded in 2014, following the collapse of the old NathanIT server. Nathan Brand, the original hoster and owner of NathanIT, sadly passed away in 2014. Vuongot and myself, both now co-owners of Nathan Classic, were members of the community at the time. Despite attempts by new ownership to keep things afloat, the server was closed to our dismay. So, we decided to create our own server to keep the spirit of NathanIT alive the best that we could. If you'd like more perspective on this, please watch this video in our server's YouTube playlist that details the events leading to the founding of Nathan Classic.

I have not posted here in a couple months because we have been undergoing some abusive harassment attempts from another community from this subreddit. At this point, I am confident that we are ready to open ourselves up for new players once again, but unfortunately since we are now whitelisted/private, you will need to fill out an application that can be found near the bottom of this page.

Anyways, I hope this has given you a fairly good picture of where we're at as a community. The server is not the most active right now, but our community centered Discord channel is still fairly lively and we're beginning to turn things around. In short, if you're looking for a private, adult-oriented and laid back server with a diverse variety of gameplay options, Nathan Classic might be worth a look!

No griefing: Building on someone's builds/land without permission, making random holes, breaking others' blocks.

No hacks, unreasonably OP items or abuse of exploits! Play the game how it is intended to be played.

No asking for ranks, rare items or OP access. Staff can provide some minor help, but you need to earn your status.

Politics, prejudice and hate speech will not be tolerated in the chat.

Treat others how you want to be treated!

If you choose to build with others, accept their builds.

No spamming/flooding the chat: 4+ consecutive messages and/or excessive use of all capital letters.

Please try to speak English in main chat!

Consult a staff member if there is a dispute between players.

NO DRAMA, act with maturity instead of throwing tantrums. This is just a game.

Listen to what staff members say!

Business involving other servers will not be tolerated. No advertising or public discussion about other servers.
