Can I get some help?

Hello. I am south a american living on a country with an extremely difficult situation, still, I keep on living my life as much as I can.

The thing is: I do want to start getting into the art of Shibari. The though of binding someone makes my heart race and I really want to try it out, but, I do not know how to start. I'd like to get, at least, the necessary things to do a rather soft session with someone. Due to my country's current state, I can't buy things online. I am in doubt since I have read that you can do Shibari using a regular rope which has been properly prepared, but I don't know how to do it. I also have read that you can do it with ropes made of synthetic cotton. Where can I get these synthetic cotton ropes? I was thinking on checking some sport stores, but I decided to ask here before taking a decision, since I might buy a regular rope and prepare it myself to start practicing some knots.

I also would like to get a webpage, youtube channel or something that could guide me in the process. After I feel prepared, I'll be trying to bind someone of my thrust. Thanks for reading!
