Fell inside costco, and left without speaking to a manager/first aid. 2 days later I can barely walk.
Hi everyone. For reference I'm in BC, Canada.
On Saturday I was inside of a Costco with some family, and I was heading to the washroom when I was walking through the checkout area and slipped on something on the floor. I got up, because I felt fine, and mentioned to a cashier that there was something on the floor. Then I proceeded to the washroom, and my family paid for their things and we left.
2 days later and I am hurting. I'm wondering if I have any recourse as I denied medical attention at the time? I'm having trouble walking, and I am able to go to work, but I'm having trouble being on my feet for a long period of time. I am planning on going to a Walk In Clinic tonight to see what the Doctor has to say.
I kind of feel like a manager or somebody at Costco should have approached me about what happened before I left, but also never had a situation like this happen to myself. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!
