Solidifying the technical fundamentals of NEO

There is a lot of hype around NEO now but unfortunately, most of the conversations and arguments around NEO's value are related to the geolocation of devs and different partnerships. The only technical thing usually mentioned is "multiple coding languages" which isn't unique or inherently valuable.

How would you define the fundamental technical value of NEO compared to other platforms?
