No Man's Sky timeline of patches / problems from the community stand point?

I was very close to buying No Man's Sky when it came out but decided against it after hearing a few close friends reactions to it after only a few hours of game play.

I've noticed a few of my favorite streamers have gotten back into the game and are apparently loving it.

I'm wondering if someone could lead me to a timeline of patches, and what the problems were the community had with the game and if they were fixed in subsequent patches, etc?
