A "new" support is being played in Korean solo queue, using the coin/ardent censer rush

Lux's probuilds page has been filled up with support players using the ancient coin/rush ardent censer strategy. They generally seem to be running Thunderlords (12/18/0) and standard AP support runes. After watching a couple replays of Mata and Gorilla, it seems that Lux is a great pick for putting out a lot of damage in laning phase, and has enough mana sustain through ancient coin. Yet because they get ardent censer 13-16 minutes into the game they also scale later into the game with Lux's shield, which has the potential to apply ardent censer buff to all teammates (possibly twice if it re-applies on the shield application returning?).

From what I can see, maxing E first for damage in lane, and then maxing W for shielding/AC buff in teamfights makes her a strong pick in multiple parts in the game. It might be too early to tell if this will make the transition to any sort of pro play, but I thought it was an interesting pick that is being tested in solo queue.
