Max level daily Alchemy Writ changes - Buhbye, Nirnroot

I've run through my eight master Alchemy crafters and found that the max-level daily Writ quests have changed quite a bit. Gone are the days of 200g Nirnroot, m'farmers.

Previously, there were only four randomly-assigned combinations of a potion and reagents. This has changed to at least seven, including four Poisons:

  • 1 Essence of Health + 3 Nirnroot (unchanged)
  • 1 Essence of Stamina + 3 Mudcrab Chitin
  • 1 Essence of Magicka + 3 Imp Stool
  • 1 Damage Health Poison IX + 3 Nightshade
  • 1 Damage Stamina Poison IX + 3 Spider Egg
  • 1 Damage Magicka Poison IX + 3 Violet Coprinus
  • 1 Drain Health Poison IX + 3 Lorkhan's Tears
  • 1 Essence of Ravage Health + 3 Alkahest

Edit: Last two quests confirmed. Yes, you can use any prior crafted Essence of Health/Stamina/Magicka/Ravage Health; they still work for the new Writ quests.

The immediate impact is that we'll have to craft some new poisons. Fortunately, you get 16-to-1 with passives, and they use inexpensive ingredients. There's also bank impact...for those of you who grind these and bank the required items, you'll have to devote more bank space now (+4 consumables for everyone, +6 additional materials for non ESO+ players). Also, expect the new various mushroom and bug part prices to go up slightly, and Nirnroot to crash significantly.

Here's how I recommend crafting your new poisons. These recipes try to minimize overlapping with each other the new 3x-quest-required ones, and use relatively cheap reagents:

  • Damage Health Poison IX - Alkahest, Stinkhorn, Blessed Thistle
  • Damage Stamina Poison IX - Alkahest, Fleshfly Larva, Luminous Russula
  • Damage Magicka Poison IX - Alkahest, Blue Entoloma, White Cap
  • Drain Health Poison IX - Alkahest, Blue Entoloma, Luminous Russula

If anyone has found additional quests requiring different consumable/reagent combos please post and I'll update this.

Edit to add - Also, if you run Dolgubon's Lazy Writ Crafter, be sure to update it from wherever you got it. It's already current! Good guy! The API is not correctly pulling poisons right now, though.
