2016 Macbook Pro 15" vs 2017 Razer Blade
So I've decided to retire my 2012 Macbook Pro and I have around $2-2500 to spend on a new laptop
First of all, my number 1 priority is build quality. I've owned many gaming laptops and all of them have suffered from crappy plastic bodies, junk trackpads, and mediocre screens. Is the Razer Blade any different?
My 2nd priority is battery life. How's the battery life on the UHD+ Razer Blade?
I'm deciding between a brand new 2017 Blade with i7-7700HQ, GTX 1060, 16gb, 512gb SSD, and 4k screen, and a refurb 2016 Pro 15" with i7-6820HQ, Radeon Pro 460 4GB, 16gb, and a 512gb SSD.
The Blade has a better GPU obviously, but how much better is it over the 460? I game every now and then, but I have a gaming desktop at home so it's not that important.
Is the screen better on the Razer blade? Obviously the resolution is better, but how's the actual quality?
Also how's the build quality on the Razer blade? My macbook has always had a great feeling keyboard, trackpad, and I love the metal body.
Any thoughts? Also I'm considering other laptops, but they must be similar to the macbook in terms of build quality and battery life.
