[F1 2016] AI Qualifying vs. Race pace

Maybe it is just me but on several tracks I can easily get pole for the race just to be outpaced in the race by the AI by up to a full second. Most notable tracks for this would be Silverstone, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Also the AI always gets a much better drive off slower turns despite me being fully on my gas button (I am on Gamepad) which makes me vulnerable for overtakes.

Any advice on how to fix this? I am on PC and I drive with Legend AI.
