No Man's Sky: I would prefer a "VR Tour" mode

This is just my opinion, if you would like to see the full game put into VR as it is, I totally understand that. However in my opinion a special mode reworked for VR would be more appealing, based on the experience of myself and others and how other games handle VR.

A) Movement would be better limited to just spaceship + buggy from the start with a seamless transition between the two. On-foot movement in NMS involves a lot of fast jumping, jetpacking and rotating - very disorientating for most people. Being in a vehicle isn't as immersion breaking as comfort settings like snap turning.

B) A faster pace with a greater emphasis on exploration. NMS is a relatively grindy game that is suited towards long play sessions. VR is more friendly to playing in shorter bursts. Spending a lot of time gathering and crafting can be rewarding, but in VR I think the exploration side of NMS would do it a lot more justice.

C) Base building would be better reworked with a 'top-down interface' like in Tethered or Korix. Building in first person requires a lot of short movements and turns, fine on a TV but disorientating in VR. In VR a fixed camera perspective would be a lot more comfortable, plus being able to see your base appear as a sort of 'scale model' below you would be a lot of fun.

(Note about point A: The player obviously couldn't go driving their exocraft into a station or base. Alternatives could be RE7-style slow movement, a Wayward Sky-style mix of 1st and 3rd person or a RIGS-style mech vehicle)
