I am 22 with about 11k in my reserves, I am moving back to the U.S. and might need some financial advice.

I have been living abroad the past year and am moving back to Chicago in two weeks. Chicago is very pricy and the job market is very competitive so I have been scoping out Indianapolis as an alternative. I have a friend who will be able to move in with me in October to split rent on a house with me and we can find housing pretty cheap out there. Also, the job market seems a bit easier to jump into than in Chicago. I will also need a car which my mom said she could cosign for woth me if I find a job but i feel like I will need a car first before anything else. I'm not 100% sure how I should go about it once I am back in Chicago.
