A little newbie advice

I've recently started playing factorio, and my first game is about 30 hours in. I started on a smallish island with no real sense of build direction and slowly expanded to the mainland with a small train network.

My issue is that some of my circuit builds are just not enough, and I don't have the room to fix it all properly, let alone scale into a proper bot based logistics system. Should I tear down/ rebuild at a better location? ( can I just tear it down and store them in cargo wagons?). Or start a new game save with the knowledge I've picked up so far?
