Looking for a prepaid/reloadable card for my grandmmother
Trying to help my grandmother budget. She's getting older and somewhat forgetful, the family is pitching in to help with money, but that's only as good as the management of the money is. One of my aunts has taken over management of her checking account, and keeps track of the money spent on the debit card. The problem becomes when she pulls cash out. There's very little she would need cash for, and we kind of want to limit the cash she can pull out if possible. For example, the other day she pulled out $80 from the ATM, but can only remember where about half of that actually went.
My mind wandered over to those prepaid cards, like Insight, Serve, and Netspend. The overall concept is good, but we need to be able to limit cash withdrawal if possible. I want to be able to make the card have $0 ATM/cashback option. Otherwise, she might as well keep using the debit card she has. All of the prepaids seem to have ATM access. Anyone know of a card that gives me that option, or of a better solution?
Thanks!
