Why do I need to use an "IDE"? Why can't I just open a text editor and write the program?
All my time I've been programming, literally all I do is open a text editor and start coding. That's it, that's all I want to do. I have no desire to use an "IDE" or learn what it even is. I tried several times to learn to use Eclipse but it was confusing as fuck and so much shit that's there and fiddling with directories I know nothing about, creating random directories out of nowhere, i try to open a blank file to code and a bunch of shit is already there and directories get created and I have to specify which directories and packages I want the new files in etc. It was all confusing as fuck and I never want to use that shit again. All I want to do is open a text editor and code. But all these developer job say "must know eclipse, must work in netbeans software development environment." Why? Why do I need to do that? Why can't I just get a developer job where all I have to do is open a text editor and write code, why does it all have to be in this IDE bullshit eclipse netbeans software integrated package development bullshit? I do not want to use those and have no desire to learn that shit, so WHY do all developer jobs say you MUST use an IDE? Fuck IDEs I never want to learn those ever.
