I don't hate white people. Does this make me a racist?

This question is mostly about Lorde's tweet

I think it's wrong to hold all white people responsible, just like how not all Muslims are responsible for terrorist attacks.

Also, white people are born that way, they have no control of what race to be born in. I think it's wrong to hate someone for something they have no control over.

Thirdly, white people are human too and deserve human rights.

I've been seeing people calling these views Neo-nazi. Why? I strongly oppose Hitler's views on racial purity, but because I believe that white people should have rights and should not be hated, or held responsible for the actions of a few, how does that mean I support Hitler?
