Is it possible to unequip a loadout?

I created a loadout, I want to unequip it and remove it. I hate that I can't mark items I just removed as junk because they're linked to a loadout. It's so much overhead.

The game forces you to equip a loadout and you can't delete the equipped loadout. Which is annoying because your first state, before entering this menu, is having no load-out at all, so I know it's possible.

Any help will be appreciated.

Edit2: People don't seem to understand my intention, here is a detailed explanation: I want to delete the loadout itself. Every time I pick up an item, if it's better than my current item that's in the loadout, I like to equip it and mark the previous one as junk. Since the previous one is still in the loadout, I can't mark it as junk, first I have to go to the main inventory window, re-save my loadout, go back to the item category, and only now I can mark the previous item as junk once it's not in the loadout. I hate having to do that, I want to stop using the loadout system. I don't want a loadout, I just want to mark items as junk without having to work hard for it.
