Waiving UC SHIP

Hi,

As an international exchange student coming to UCSC for a year, I'm looking for other healthcare options apart from UC SHIP that would qualify me to waive it since it is extremely expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions of alternate healthcare policies I could take out that qualify for waiving UC SHIP? Thanks!
