Disable Seatbelt Alarm in 2018

The seatbelt alarm is the worst of any vehicle I've driven. I don't understand why the parking brake or the car going 0mph doesn't disable the chime. If I have to make a quick stop and leave my car running so the passenger has AC and music, I have to turn the car off and start it again or the chime rings repeatedly. I've tried the steps for older models, inserting the belt 20x in under 30 seconds with the key in ACC and On position and it doesn't work. Anyone have luck disabling the alarm on their 2018?
