Am I Doing Something Wrong?
I've not weighed myself in 3 weeks and I decided to step on the scales again tonight. I'm no lighter than I was 3 weeks ago. In fact, I'm 1lb heavier.
I measured myself as well, and in 7 days, I've lost 2 inches from my waist, 1 inch off my dominant calf, 0.5 inch off my dominant wrist, remained the same on my hips and gained an 1.5 inches on my dominant thigh.
I've been eating less than I'm burning by anything between 500-800 calories a day, and been going to the gym 3 times a week for an hour each. Although my diet isn't super health-conscious, I've been sticking to home cooked, unprocessed foods (mince, steak, chicken breasts, brown rice etc) I've not drank soda for over a month now, I've avoided candy and chocolate, and I've allowed myself one cheat meal every Friday (while remaining below my calorie limit)
Is this strange gain in my thighs anything I'm doing wrong? Is it normal to not lose a pound of weight over 3 weeks, let alone gain a pound, all while maintaining CICO and lifting 3 times a week?
Edit: I also wanna ask if it's normal for me to lose inches on everywhere but my hips and thighs yet my body fat percentage goes up based on those measurements? Or am I measuring myself wrong? I measure the fattest part of my thighs and hips every time.
