Two LVL 39 trainers vs Tyranitar with Fire Blast!
After watching the video of two Mystic LVL 40 trainers defeating a Tyranitar with Stone Edge we decided to accept the challenge and restore the pride of team Valor by defeating one Tyranitar with an even more devastating attack - Fire Blast!
But first we had to build up an extraordinary squad to do so. Fortunately, during the Chicago event we had the chance to profit from a Machop nest in the near of our home town. We invested several hours per day over the next 2 weeks in order to obtain enough candies und star dust to get a majority of the new evolved Machamps to the maximum.
Then on Saturday the 29th of July we made our first attempt. It didn´t end to well due to several reasons. GPS drifts, different countdowns which led to failures on both sides, dodging issues and last but not least Niantic stole us 8 seconds at the beginning and 5 seconds at the ending of the battle :)
The second attempt was another failure - Crunch!
Our Third attempt had to be cancelled due to a massive GPS drift we couldn´t overcome.
But then on our fourth attempt we were finally rewarded. Well at least we managed to defeat Tyranitar, recording wasn´t our strength there. We needed 3 attempts on this one and on the final try we forgot to record the countdown menu, so we used the menu of one of the first attempts in order to complete the video. You can see a time skip and a different sequence of the Machamps used in the video.
