Pixelation with Ultra

I have a Chromecast Ultra connected to a 4K TV. When I watch HD movies from Google Play I notice a lot of pixelation during dark scenes. I've noticed this on more than one movie.

Unfortunately I don't have another device that works with Google Play to test to see if it is the Chromecast or the Google Play video quality that is the problem.

Have any of you experienced this?
