Just finished my first ever playthrough of Wings of Liberty

And I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a blind playthrough and I played it immediately after my blind playthrough of the original Starcraft and Broodwar (also on my channel) and personally I enjoyed it far more.

For me, the biggest issue I had with SC1/BW was the awful pathing and the restrictive control with small command groups and the like. Things I fully understand that people enjoy and it's great that they do, but it bothered me when I played. I also felt Wings of Liberty had a better variety of mission scenarios and it kept me better engaged.

The story of WoL was cool, though the whole romance with Kerrigan and Jim was out of left field and...I'm not even going to say poorly developed in SC1 as much as it wasn't developed at all. I understand it is a major point in Heart of the Swarm, and honestly the way they present it IN Wings of Liberty was well done, it was just an abrupt start. I also had a few issues with the end scenario which I discuss on the videos. Feel free to come check them out and share your opinions (here or there).
