Possible entry level jobs with a Petroleum Engineering Degree?
I graduated with a 3.0 GPA in PetE from a good school before deciding that it's not what I want to do with my life. Right now I'm looking at various analyst (Data and Business mostly) positions to try to leverage some of that problem solving and analysis experience, but was curious about what other entry level positions night be a good fit for someone who took these classes and has this degree but isn't a huge fan of the cyclical oil industry.
I love working with computers and am good with excel. I have some programming experience in Python and MatLab and worked with Java back in highschool. If possible, I'd like to use some of those skills in my career. Would really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks!
