Has anyone tried forging a blade from ME steel?

Hi everyone. Through work, I have access to a lot of old punches that are made from M2 high speed steel. I had a coworker ask if they could be made into a knife blade.

Has anyone forged with M2 before? Can you share anything you learned about it and how to heat treat an M2 blade?
